Evaluation of registered and potential insecticide treatments for controlling important insect pests and protecting tobacco yield and quality. - Evaluation of Contans® WG for Sclerotinia Disease Control
Assessment of Contans ® WG for controlling Sclerotinia diseases and determining its effects on the yield and quality characteristics of flue-cured tobacco. - Evaluation of Nematicides Following Fall Application of Busan
Evaluation of nematicide treatments following a fall application of Busan for nematode control in flue-cured tobacco production. - Evaluation of Fungicides for Brown Spot Management
Evaluation of fungicide treatments for managing tobacco brown spot caused by Alternaria species and assessing their effects on the yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco. - Nitrogen Application Rates in Flue-Cured Tobacco
Evaluation of nitrogen application rates and the relationship between leaf nitrogen levels and chlorophyll measurements obtained using a SPAD meter. The project will help assess whether SPAD readings can support in-season nitrogen-management decisions. - Effects of Topping Time on Two Flue-Cured Tobacco Varieties
Investigation of how topping time affects leaf quality and chemical composition in two flue-cured tobacco varieties.
