CTRF is pleased to welcome Dr. Gurleen Sidhu as Plant Breeder Scientist, supporting the Foundation’s plant breeding and crop improvement research programs.
Dr. Sidhu completed her Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics at the University of Guelph and is recently a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Manitoba. Her expertise includes applied plant breeding, quantitative genetics, genomics, disease evaluation, and crop improvement research.
Dr. Sidhu brings strong experience in field-based breeding, molecular diagnostics, data analysis, and multi-environment research trials across several crop systems. Her background and expertise will be a valuable addition to CTRF research and breeding activities.
